Inside Out

I’m not “superstitious”.

I don’t have charm bells–I have blessing bells (I’ll post photos of my Blessing Bells at a later date).

I do practice habits (rituals) that some will call “superstitious”, though I view these good habits as common sense preventative bad-outcomings-while-motoring.

One of these common-sense habits is turning my left sock inside out before putting on my boot.

“Why do you do that?” a friend asked.

“Jesus is on the Right Hand (side) of God; Satan is on the Left Hand (side) of God. So, I’m letting him (Satan) know that I know he’s there, that he’s not a welcome passenger on my ride, and that I’ve invited another Passenger Who rides with me.”

Don’t poo-poo this post.

YOU have a ritual (habits) through which you go before motoring.

Be honest: What “charms” or rituals (habits) do you observe before putting your mortal body on your iron horse and hitting that two-lane blacktop?

Ride often, ride well, ride in peace,
